Plain-English explanation of what information Weiss Performance collects, why it is collected, and how it is handled.
Last updated: September 16, 2026
Who this covers
This policy applies to the Weiss Performance website, anything you send by email, and the information handled while delivering online coaching. If anything here is unclear, email weissperformanceco@gmail.com.
Information you send to Weiss Performance
- Name and email address.
- Optional phone number and general location.
- Your goals, training history, available equipment, and weekly availability.
- Injuries or limitations you choose to share.
- Coaching preferences, package interest, and any other notes you add.
You choose what to write in the free-text fields. Share only what is relevant to coaching.
Information handled during coaching
Coaching is delivered through Everfit, a third-party platform. Information handled there may include training logs, weekly check-ins, progress metrics, progress photos you choose to upload, and health-related fitness information you choose to provide.
Sensitive fitness or health information should only be shared when it is relevant to your coaching. Medical diagnosis and treatment belong with licensed healthcare professionals, not with a coach.
How information is used
- To answer your questions and respond to you.
- To communicate about your coaching and scheduling.
- To build, deliver, and adjust your programming.
- To support your account and access.
- To improve the coaching service and the website.
- To prevent abuse, spam, and fraudulent submissions.
- To meet legal obligations that apply.
Service providers
Running the service requires a small number of providers, which may include Everfit for coaching delivery, hosting and database providers, and email providers. If and when a payment provider is selected, payment information will be handled by that provider rather than stored here; no payment provider is in place at this time and none is named until one is selected.
Weiss Performance does not sell personal information.
Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect information, including access limited to what is needed to run coaching. No website, app, or internet service can guarantee absolute security, and no such guarantee is made here.
Retention
Information is kept only as long as there is a legitimate business or legal need — for example, while your enrollment is being set up, while you are coached, and afterward for ordinary record-keeping.
For coaching delivery specifically: when your paid access ends, your Everfit profile is archived and kept in the Weiss Performance Everfit workspace for 12 months so returning later is easier. While archived, what you can access depends on Everfit's current platform behavior — today that generally means you can still log in and view your history, but you cannot track new workouts or use active coaching features. After 12 months the profile is removed from the Weiss Performance workspace unless there is a legitimate legal or recordkeeping reason to retain something longer. You may request earlier deletion, subject to legal and operational requirements.
This is the Weiss Performance workspace policy. Everfit is a separate company with its own retention schedules and backup systems, so no promise is made that Everfit immediately erases all copies or backups from its own systems.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information about you, subject to legal and operational requirements, and except where applicable law requires otherwise. Ask by emailing weissperformanceco@gmail.com. Note that information stored inside Everfit is also subject to that platform's own settings and practices.
Cookies and technical information
The website and the platforms used to run it may record ordinary technical information such as the pages requested, browser type, and approximate region, and may use cookies or similar storage needed for the site to function. No claim is made about advertising networks, cross-site tracking, or profiling systems that are not in use.
Minors
Coaching is intended for people who can enter into the coaching agreement themselves. If you are not legally able to do so where you live, a parent or legal guardian must be involved in the enrollment, agreement, and communication.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the service grows. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and where reasonable you will be told about them in advance.
